We create a database for you or work in your existing database by adding current transactions into categories. The result will be financial reports that will provide the information needed to prepare a tax return and/ or obtain financing or funding for your business or organization. 

The most common type of reports used for business is the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.  See Sample  Reports.

If you have a nonprofit organization these similar reports are called Statement of Activities and Statement of Financial Position.  See sample copies of these.

Tax Return Preparation:

We use your financial information to prepare the type of tax return that is required and/ or in your best interest to file for you.  We start by getting a copy of the previous year's tax return and make 

appropriate inquiries to determine what type of tax return is required. 

To do this we need to get your tax information from you:

• See list of information needed to do partnership taxes
• See list of information needed to do corporation taxes
• See list of information needed to do nonprofit organization taxes
• See list of information needed to do Estate Income Taxes

Tax Planning should be part of the previous year's tax return preparation service but sometimes things change a lot mid-year.  

If you are self-employed and you are making estimated tax payments (or should be) those payments will be based on the prior year's net income.  If you know that you are more profitable in the current year you also need to increase those tax payments.  

If you were an employee last year and now you are self-employed you need to be paying your tax monthly or quarterly depending on your amount of net income and type of entity.   Do not think that you can just pay it all in April of next year.  That is a myth!  By April of next year you will owe the prior year's tax, plus interest and penalty PLUS the fist installment of the current year's tax.
